LIB 870 Clinical Practicum

LIB 870 P-12 School Librarian Practicum is different from any other course you will take in this program. LIB 870 is a "self-directed" course requiring a clinical field experience of 100 hours (50 site-based hours at an elementary school library setting and 50 site-based hours at a middle or high school library setting, providing School Library candidates with real world experience under the guidance and supervision of a certified school librarian. Therefore, this course allows School Library candidates the opportunity to integrate library theory through the application of principles and practices within a work-based environment.
